Merry Christmas everyone I know I have been a real Bah Humbag this year but I just want to say I am grateful for the
birth of our Savior. I have been busy with last minute shopping and spending time with my son Brenten who is here
for about two weeks. Best present ever. I promise I will do better at keeping in touch next year and since I am taking a little down time from one of my jobs, hopefully be able to spend some time at my fave pastime MAKING CARDS!!!!! Have a great holiday and I will see you in the new year.

Only 10 more days until Christmas. I can't believe it. I am almost done with shopping. Mostly just gift cards and then let the wrapping begins. I never know what to get my older grandchildren so they get gift cards and then they can get what they want. Hopefully I can find time to get my hair cut before I need a dog collar. LOL. It has been quite a while and if I don't do it soon, I will do it myself and that is not a pretty sight. Anyway off to start the day.

Christmas is only 21 days away. HELP!!!!!
I can't believe that Christmas is only 3 weeks away. I feel totally unmotivated. I told myself that I would get Christmas cards made and I am only about half way done. LOL. I guess the best laid plans right? Anyway, last
Thursday, my son-in-law called and said he had tickets to the Forgotten Carols, one of my favorite Christmas
Musicals. He asked if I wanted to go. Boy did I. Had a great time going to the VIP Reception and than to the play. Second row seats too. Didn't get a lot of sleep but I didn't mind. Trying to get the house cleaned up and everything ready for the holidays.

So here it is, November 19. I spent the morning with my two granddaughters doing projects at Archiver's. I am trying to find the time to make Christmas cards but with two jobs and kids it is hard of hard. I plan to spend Thanksgiving weekend doing what I love. So maybe I will have something to show you. Can't believe Christmas is a little over a month away. WOW!!!!. Not at all ready but oh well.

Here it is, September 17 and it is starting to feel like Fall. Time to think about Halloween and leaves changing and hot chocolate in the morning. I am going to be busy with work and kids but I will try to write more.

So here it is another month. I've been busy with kids, grand kids and work. Although I have managed to have a few moments of "me" time doing what I like doing which is making cards. After trying to come up with a new technique and then remembering how much I liked the look of tea bag folding. I decided to try my hand at it again. I really like the look of using circles for tea bag folding instead of squares. This card was made with paper I already had and some that I bought at Joann's The doily punch is from Martha Stewart and the quadruple bow was made with the Bow Easy. I really like using Bow Easy to make multiple loop bows.

Summer has started
Well Summer vacation has started and we are watching grandkids. So that means going to the park and playing the Wii. I am trying to come up with some free or nearly free activities for them to do. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. This week we went to Discover Park in Pleasant Grove, Utah. The kids love it and it is a great way to wear them out.

I am hopeless. I keep forgetting to do this. I thought I would add some pictures of what I have been doing. I made this card for my granddaughter's birthday. Just to let you know what I used, I used Inky Antics Honey Pop papers and stamps (elephant birthday) for the image. I stamped the image on paper that I used a stencil to make clouds and then stamped the image again on another sheet of paper which I colored with Copic markers (W3,W5, W7, W9, R 83, R85, R21). I then used mounting tape to give it a little pop and used Martha Stewart's Fringe Scissors to make the grass. I used Brillance inkpads Pearlescent Orange and Rocket Red and VersaMagic Pink Grapefruit and Thatched Straw for the background with yellow cardstock.
I hope you like it.
